Wild Metrics for the wildlife control service: reports, cages and logs in one place
Wild Metrics for wildlife control teams and contractors: report inbox, camera and cage inventory, response protocols and intervention log.
Who it is for
For municipal wildlife teams and the companies that provide wildlife control services to a local government: those who receive the report, go out to check it, place or inspect cages and cameras and record what was done. If your job is to decide and report, the page for local governments is a better fit.
What changes in your work
Without a shared tool, one group of animals can generate several calls and a wasted trip.
With Wild Metrics, reports, devices and call-outs are seen on the same map and urgent trips are kept for what really needs them.
Tools designed for the field
Report inbox
Every report, with photo and place, in a single inbox. No duplicate calls and no blind trips.
Cameras, sensors and cages
Each device in view, with its status. You know which to check before it fails.
Alerts with a protocol
When an alert fires, the species protocol sits beside it. You act without hesitating and everything is logged.
Intervention log
Each call-out is logged with its result. The service and the council talk with data.
- Received
- Validated
- In progress
- Resolved or discarded
A typical day
You start the day with the summary and the delicate areas, validate what adds up and head out with the map on your phone. Back at base, you log the result; the councillor’s office works with that, and the guide for residents helps reports arrive better.
Inside the Zoometrics suite
Wild Metrics is one of the five Zoometrics tools. Here is how they relate and where each one’s work ends.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to replace the cage traps and cameras I already use?
No. Wild Metrics accepts devices from several makers and makes use of those you already have in service.
Does the platform decide for me whether a report is a wild boar?
No. It proposes and sorts, but it is always a person who confirms.
What happens with a doubtful detection?
It is shown with its level of confidence until someone confirms or discards it.
Does it work from a phone, in the field?
Yes, it is used from the browser, including on the phones of staff working in the street.
What information is kept about each call-out?
What you need to justify it: when, where, what was done and with what result.
How do we try it with our service?
Write to us from the contact page, tell us how you work today and we will see how it would fit.
